Technical study visit was organized in Slovenia for Flood Risk Management Plan of Bosnia and Herzegovina
Technical study tour was organized in the Slovenia between 24 - 28 October with the participation of Bosnian authorities from state level, Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Republika Srpska and Brčko Distrikt within the scope of “Technical assistance for preparation of the Flood Risk Management Plan for Bosnia and Herzegovina”.
Within the scope of the visit, the following inspections were made:
- Practices in the Slovenia in regard of flood risk management in the Ministry of the Environmental and Spatial Planning of Slovenia.
- Visit to city of Železniki, attending the presentation of the problem of flooding of the Selška Sora River and measures implemented; visit of location Suša Dam
- Visit to University of Ljubljana, inspection on the physical model of Suša Dam
- Visit to one of the FRISCO measures on Sotla River, Vonarje Dam. Attendance to presentation about challenges and measures in the basin.
- Visit to see different urban and natural based flood measure implementations in the scope of goMura and DRA-MU-CI projects.
In addition to administrative participants, Project Coordinator Mr. Yunus Oruç attended and organized the technical study visit as a representative of consortium of SAFEGE-ALTER-IG Banja Luka.
